Ce sera, pour les athl\u00e8tes europ\u00e9ens, une premi\u00e8re belle \u00e9tape pour pr\u00e9parer les <a href=\"https:\/\/dicodusport.fr\/blog\/jo-paris-2024\/\"><strong>Jeux Olympiques de Paris 2024<\/strong><\/a>, qui auront lieu du 26 juillet au 11 ao\u00fbt 2024. Comme pour l&rsquo;\u00e9ch\u00e9ance olympique, des minima sont \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser pour Rome 2024. Des standards fix\u00e9s par European Athletics qui se sont \u00e9galement durcis, du fait de l&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e9vation globale du niveau dans certaines disciplines. On pense \u00e0 la perche hommes, o\u00f9 les 5.75 m demand\u00e9s sont au-dessus des minima mondiaux ou olympiques, comme pour les JO de Rio 2016 (5.70 m). Cela promet une belle bagarre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En sachant que, comme pour la qualification olympique, le ranking sera par ailleurs pris en compte pour des athl\u00e8tes qui n&rsquo;auraient pas r\u00e9alis\u00e9 les minima. Aussi, r\u00e9aliser les minima ne vous assure pas automatiquement d\u2019\u00eatre qualifi\u00e9 pour les championnats d&rsquo;Europe. Il faut aussi \u00eatre dans les trois meilleurs par pays. Certains pays se servent de leur championnat national pour faire la s\u00e9lection. On pense aux <em>Trials<\/em> aux \u00c9tats-Unis. C\u2019est aussi le m\u00eame mode de s\u00e9lection en Jama\u00efque. En France, chez les hommes, cela peut bloquer pour des disciplines comme la perche, o\u00f9 cinq \u00e0 six athl\u00e8tes sont capables de franchir les 5.82 m requis.
