Parmi les pilotes ayant disput\u00e9 une course en MotoGP sur ce circuit,\u00a0<strong>Valentino Rossi<\/strong>\u00a0a gagn\u00e9 trois fois (2002, 2005 et 2008). L\u2019Espagnol\u00a0<strong>Jorge Lorenzo<\/strong>\u00a0a fait mieux en comptant 5 victoires en France (2009, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2016). C\u2019est deux de plus que son compatriote\u00a0<strong>Marc Marquez<\/strong>\u00a0(2014, 2018 et 2019).\u00a0<strong>Maverick Vi\u00f1ales<\/strong>\u00a0a aussi d\u00e9j\u00e0 gagn\u00e9 au Mans, en 2017.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019\u00e9dition de 2021 nous avait offert un spectacle incroyable. Alors qu\u2019il s\u2019est mis \u00e0 pleuvoir en plein milieu de la course, les pilotes ont d\u00fb changer de moto, provoquant un <em>flag to flag<\/em>. Alors chauss\u00e9 de pneus pluie, c\u2019est l\u2019Australien <strong>Jack Miller<\/strong>\u00a0(Ducati) qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 le plus fort. Derri\u00e8re, les Fran\u00e7ais<strong>\u00a0Johann Zarco<\/strong>\u00a0(Pramac Ducati) et\u00a0<strong>Fabio Quartararo<\/strong>\u00a0(Yamaha) avaient compl\u00e9t\u00e9 le podium. En 2022,\u00a0c\u2019est l\u2019Italien\u00a0<strong>Enea Bastianini<\/strong> (Ducati) qui l\u2019avait emport\u00e9 sur piste s\u00e8che avec sa moto du team Gresini Racing. <strong>Quartararo<\/strong> et <strong>Zarco<\/strong> avaient pris place dans le top 5, en 4\u00e8me et 5\u00e8me positions. En 2023, la course \u00e9tait anim\u00e9e et finalement <strong>Marco Bezzecchi<\/strong>\u00a0(Mooney VR46) s\u2019\u00e9tait impos\u00e9 alors que\u00a0<strong>Johann Zarco<\/strong> montait sur le podium \u00e0 domicile. Il est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un des meilleurs circuits de sports m\u00e9caniques, et les courses y sont souvent mouvement\u00e9es. La course principale se d\u00e9roulera sur 27 tours, soit environ 113 km. Le champion du monde en titre, <strong>Jorge Mart\u00edn<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong>est lui parti de chez Pramac Ducati pour Aprilia et a fait sa rentr\u00e9e au Qatar apr\u00e8s avoir subi une fracture de la main droite et du pied gauche. N\u00e9anmoins, l&rsquo;Espagnol a rechut\u00e9 aux \u00c9tats-Unis. Il sera donc forfait pour ce week-end encore.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, <strong>Francesco Bagnaia<\/strong> a donc repris son ancien num\u00e9ro, le 63, et aura \u00e0 c\u0153ur de rejouer le titre encore cette saison. N\u00e9anmoins, son co\u00e9quipier lui m\u00e8ne la vie dure. Un autre outsider a \u00e9merg\u00e9 cette saison :<strong> Alex Marquez<\/strong> (Gresini). Le fr\u00e8re de l&rsquo;octuple champion du Monde a conquis sa premi\u00e8re victoire lors du dernier Grand Prix \u00e0 domicile. Il m\u00e8ne le classement avec 140 points, un de plus que son fr\u00e8re. Trois rookies ont d\u00e9but\u00e9 dans la cat\u00e9gorie, dont deux pilotes asiatiques. Le Tha\u00eflandais <strong>Somkiat Chantra<\/strong> est pilote chez LCR Honda (forfait pour blessure ce week-end), l&rsquo;Espagnol <strong>Ferm\u00edn Aldeguer<\/strong> chez Gresini Racing, et enfin le Japonais <strong>Ai Ogura<\/strong> chez Trackhouse MotoGP Team.
