Pour sa troisi\u00e8me \u00e9dition, cette course d\u2019un jour inscrite en UCI Europe Tour (1.1) propose un parcours exigeant de <strong>171,7 kilom\u00e8tres<\/strong> entre <strong>Castell\u00f3n de la Plana<\/strong> et <strong>Onda<\/strong>, au c\u0153ur d\u2019une province r\u00e9put\u00e9e pour ses routes cassantes et ses reliefs courts mais nerveux.<\/p>\n<h2>Le parcours en bref<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">D\u00e8s les premiers kilom\u00e8tres, la course est invit\u00e9e \u00e0 s\u2019animer. Une mont\u00e9e plac\u00e9e tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t sur le trac\u00e9 emp\u00eache toute mise en route tranquille et favorise les attaques rapides, voire la formation d\u2019une \u00e9chapp\u00e9e solide. La suite du parcours alterne ensuite faux plats, bosses et routes sinueuses, usant progressivement les organismes avant une seconde difficult\u00e9 plus r\u00e9guli\u00e8re, id\u00e9ale pour durcir la s\u00e9lection.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le final concentre l\u2019essentiel des enjeux. Une derni\u00e8re ascension, situ\u00e9e \u00e0 une dizaine de kilom\u00e8tres de l\u2019arriv\u00e9e, offre une rampe de lancement parfaite aux puncheurs et grimpeurs explosifs. Sans \u00eatre extr\u00eamement pentue, elle arrive apr\u00e8s de nombreux kilom\u00e8tres d\u2019efforts et peut faire de gros \u00e9carts.
