Les \u00e9ditions 2020 et 2021 n\u2019ont toutefois pas pu avoir lieu en raison de la pand\u00e9mie de Covid.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Longtemps positionn\u00e9 en toute fin de saison, le <strong>Grand Prix du Japon<\/strong> a souvent \u00e9t\u00e9 le th\u00e9\u00e2tre de d\u00e9nouements pour le championnat du monde. Entre 1987 et 2022, douze titres pilotes s\u2019y sont jou\u00e9s. Construit \u00e0 l\u2019origine comme piste d\u2019essais pour Honda et dessin\u00e9 par l\u2019ing\u00e9nieur n\u00e9erlandais <strong>John Hugenholtz<\/strong>, il est r\u00e9put\u00e9 pour la vari\u00e9t\u00e9 et l\u2019exigence de ses encha\u00eenements.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les pilotes y affrontent plusieurs sections devenues l\u00e9gendaires, comme les Esses du premier secteur, les virages de Degner, le long double gauche de Spoon ou encore le rapide 130R.
