Dopage : Christian Coleman suspendu 2 ans

ATHLÉTISME – Christian Coleman, champion du monde du 100 mètres, a été suspendu deux ans pour manquement aux règles antidopage. 

Coup de tonnerre sur l’athlétisme mondial ! Le champion du monde en titre du 100 mètres, Christian Coleman, ne pourra pas participer aux prochains Jeux Olympiques de Tokyo. L’athlète américain a été suspendu pour deux ans pour manquement à ses obligations de localisation antidopage. Suspendu provisoirement depuis mai dernier suite à trois no shows les 16 janvier, 26 avril et 9 décembre 2019, Christian Coleman ne pourra participer à aucune compétition jusqu’en mai 2022. Il a désormais 30 jours pour faire appel.

The Disciplinary Tribunal has upheld the AIU’s charge and banned sprinter Christian Coleman of the USA for 2 years for 3 Whereabouts Failures in a 12-month period, a violation of the @worldathletics Anti-Doping Rules.
